About Our Farm
Farmed Using Regenerative Techniques with Ecology in Mind
Our Story
Our inspiration comes from the diverse ecology that surrounds us. We are intentional with our approach to farming, knowing that from the soil below to the air above are interconnected in ways that develop a strong ecosystem. We use a holistic approach to support our farming techniques by building the soil structure with cover cropping, green mulching to avoid erosion, animals such as sheep and goats to graze our fields, and feed the soil, composting, and hedgerows incorporated with native plants to nourish the pollinators throughout the year. We also avoid plastic row covers so insects can overwinter safely and our fields stay free from unnecessary waste.
Just as we believe in the regenerative practice of farming, we also value building strong relationships within the local community. We’re proud to work with local makers, restaurants, hotels, floral designers, and outdoor recreation partners who share our love for this region to support a healthy and sustainable local economy. Pollinators
Sonoma County is home to more than 190 species of native bees, each playing a vital role in keeping our landscapes thriving. Our lavender fields provide food and habitat for many of these pollinators throughout the season.
